Well so far I have had no luck around town that is within 50 mile raidus of Jacksonville Fl. in finding my pet for life. After a ton of research we (my wife and I) want a yellow-collared macaw. My question, is anyone familiar with 1-2-tweet breeders in Brandon Fl. they seem to be a large breeded and have just about everything you would want? Adopting a severe

Hi - I am new here. I may be rescuing a severe macaw from a bad situation. I have bird experience but have never had a macaw. I was hoping to be pointed in the right direction for good information. If anyone here owns a mini macaw I would love to hear some of your stories/advice/wisdom Thanks :p

Minis and Caiques?

Does anyone have a mini (Hahns in particular) and a caique? If so, how do they get along? It's not quite time yet, but eventually I'd like to add to the flock, and my boyfriend and I both love the crazy antics of the caiques. However, my biggest concern would be adding a species that is most likely to get along with my male Hahns, Sprout. Thanks!
