Goffin Cockatoo Breeders

Hi, I'll be getting to take Coconut (goffin cockatoo) home the end of June. Coconut was born in February. We received all the paperwork with the band number etc... My question is: What exactly does the banding letters and numbers represent. My husband said years ago he knew someone who bred birds, the letters were for the name of the breeder, and the numbers meant the age and spot in the egg order. Although, the number on the band doesn't decifer that way. Do they band differently by...
