Hi everyone :) New baby

Hello, Vasa lovers!

I am so very pleased to meet you all, I have heard so much about everyone here from Cherie and I have read about many of your Vasas.

Right now I have limited access to the internet, but I hope to get to know everyone here in the years to come - I absolutely LOVE to see pictures of your Vasas!

My name is Asia and I have been infatuated with Vasas for years now. A week ago today, my baby Vasa came into my life. His name is Beau (my 18 month old daughter named him...lol!) and I am SO IN LOVE with him. He was hatched 04/29/08 and he's just a baby (please don't worry, I have handfeeding experience).

He seems to be growing up as fast as I can pump food into him...I have always been told that Vasas are crazy hand feeders...but Beau is by far more rough then a baby Macaw when feeding!

Beau is a snuggly little thing...we spend hours just cuddling and playing with toys together. He just started stepping up (or a pathetic wobbly version of stepping up) on my hand yesterday, and today he began to climb out of his baby basket and explore.

I will post some pictures when I can, and eventually I will get a video up on youtube. Cherie tells me that Beau's personality seems similar to Vinny's...high energy? I would really like to talk to all of you as Beau grows up, get advice from other Vasa moms/dads, and learn all about the personalities of your Vasas. It will be interesting to see how Beau turns out, being that I have him at such a young age.

To the forum I know quite a few people with Vasas.As a matter of fact before
I got my first Eclectus I almost brought home a Vasa.Now here it is many years later and where some of my Eclectus came from she was also a Vasa breeder.I look forward to hearing about Beau.I also have a Beau but he's a rescued YNA.
