Female Vasa Beak [pics]

Hey, I figured it was time for me to share a couple pictures of Anka. I also took some of her beak from the front so that those with males can compare. Hers looks a lot narrower to me around the cere.

Awesome pictures, Brock! I think her beak is maybe a bit more narrow, hard to tell because its definitly lighter in color, too.

I love the last shot! But yes the beak looks a little narrower, and still the head overall looks smaller. Would love to see a pic of male and female side by side. The only pics I see are when the female is bald, you can't really tell.

I can't really tell if Vinnie's beak is bigger. In some of his photos I think it looks bigger, or at least more bulbous, than it does in person. I just tried comparing nostrils and still am not sure. His beak is starting to darken around the sides as well.

He won't go in bodies of water any larger than his water dish. I've tried!
