Well, yeah, I don't know much about all parrots. There are so many. Thanks for helping to figure out what species my parrot is.

Anyway, my parrot, today, climbed onto my arm. He went onto my shoulder later on. Is that dangerous? He seems like he just wanted to play. Like when he bites the sleeve of my clothing. It would seem like it's a bad habit, but he doesn't just bite it. He rubs his head and cheeks against it in an very endearing way.

I would avoid the shoulder, as many birds tend to bite peoples face. Not to be mean to their humans, but there are many reasons for biting such as a warning or danger, displaced aggression, hormones, or the bird disciplining the human for what ever reason. I'd rather my hand take the bite than my face. But every bird is different, my vasa rides on my shoulder all the time, he is 7 and has never bitten once in his life. I would not however let an amazon do the same! Jardines can be very feisty! So I wouldn't encourage the shoulder riding. As far as biting your clothes, not recommended as it is a bad habit, but to reprimand them is kinda unfair because in all honestly they are trying to bond and if you had feathers he would be preening them, you don't so he chews your shirt. So instead focus his attention elsewhere, give him a foot toy, popsicle stick, straw, plastic pen cap, plastic bottle cap, let him chew that instead and praise him for it.

Hey, I'll keep what you said you mind, Kimba. I do notice he loves to chew on plastic bottle caps. But I got worried he would be allergic to it because it's plastic. What type of plastics are parrots allergic to? I heard they can be very harmful to them.
If it's alright, would be able to tell me what type of toys or things are appropriate for a parrot to chew on?

Common plastic item are fine as long as they are clean. I avoid plastic that is too soft, simply because there is a risk of accidental ingestion as the soft plastic can easily slip down there throats as opposed to hard plastic pieces which the bird can manovure in it's mouth much easier. But I would avoid rubber dog toys. Or rubber bird toys made by dog toy companies such as Budda....These items contain zinc. Something I did not learn until I started my bird toy company and began researching materials.

Well, it seems like I have a million never ending questions about parrots lol. I know I shouldn't be too dependent on asking people in the forum. I think a better solution for myself is to find a good parrot book.

But since I have questions on my mind right now, I might as well ask them. Well. There have been some alternating with my parrot's baths. I spray water at him so his feathers get wet. But I try to be careful not to spray too close or he might get scared. It's not one of those sprayers that actually squirts out tiny droplets of water. It's like a sprayer that sprays out mist water. He seems fine with it. I was wondering if I should continue giving him baths like this, and if so, should I give him baths daily? He's not that bad of a feather picker sometimes. I read somewhere it helps to give your parrot a daily bath to encourage it to preen its' feathers more.

Another thing I want to talk about is parrot music. I have heard having the radio on in a nearby room can keep a parrot from boredom, but is there a difference if I have music on or something like a news station?

Parrots definitely have preferences when it comes to music, usualy the louder they are the more they like the music. Daily baths are fine. And don't worry about asking too many questions, chances are someone else has the same question and can benefit from reading the threads.

Aah ... I have more questions. Lol.
I am letting my parrot out of his cage more frequently on a daily basis now, but what would you think is the minimum number of times I should let him out? Also ... how many toys should a parrot have? I know my jardine isn't that big, but he still needs several times to entertain him. So far he has four toys in his cage. He has two perches in his cage, but I think he needs more perches so he can move around on different levels based on how high or low I put the perches. As for playing outside his cage, he doesn't really have a play area. It's a little troublesome since his cage bars aren't very small, so when he is holding his foot toy and drops it, it goes all the way down to the very bottom of the cage. Then I need to take it out and wash it before I give it to him again.
Another thing I noticed his he mimics me sometimes. Recently he was meowing like a cat lol.
