Default freezing bread

i am wanting to make up some bread for my birds but i usually only make enough for a couple of days..how do i go about freezing it? deedee/mo.

Hi Deedee, I just cut up the loaf into portion sizes, make sure it is completely cooled and wrap in wax paper then a freezer bag. It works fine. I take out a days worth at a time and it thaws quickly that way. Smells the same but with the egg shell in it, I'm not about to try it.

I freeze mine in the freezer weight zip lock bags. I cut it into pieces that are about the amount I can use up in 2 to 3 days, after it thaws in the refrigerator.

I freeze mine in icecube trays - then just pop a few out in the morning and thaw -

Great idea! Ice cube trays are great for storing and portions.
