Default A mommy to TWO Sennies now!!

I can't believe how lucky I am! First 4mos. old "Patience" is in my life and the perfect parrot (in my opinion). And now I am trusted by her breeder to take care of a 6week baby boy (wel we think boy..haven't done the DNA yet) my husband wants to call "Sir Kermit" (I'm trying to talk him out of that name)

The story of Kermit is that the breeder thought the eggs to be infertile and she thought the mother was just laying on dead eggs. Well it turned out that they were not all dead...two of them hatched and the mother HID them so well in the cage the breeder did not pull them on day nine..but more like 3weeks after they must have hatched!

Kermit is really timid and is not behaving like a normal 6 week old sennie should act. He just learned how to perch this last week and he is still very wobbly.I am drop feeding him 2-3 time a day till she can get a bit stronger.

Any way I am busy and he is a messy eater...but I Love him so much and I really hope he can stay with us. I was supposed to just foster him for a bit..but who knows, I may add this little guy to our family group.

Just though I would share. I was going to ask Missrachel what she thought about having two sennies in the same room (different cages) but this was sort of an emergency..so I guess I will just have to "wing it" *lol*
