I don't have a snake, but a coworker of mine did. I forget which kinds he had, but I believe he bread mice for them and I heard him say that he had given a shed skin to someone as a gift.

Ohhh I love the shed skins.

LOL...OK, that sounded weird. But honestly, I think the huge sheds from anacondas and the huge ball pythons are really interesting!

A friend of mine used to have a large skin hanging as a decoration in his apartment. He got it while he was on vacation. He was into that kind of "exotic" things.

I love all kinds of exotic pets. I had a ball python several years ago, (his name was Caesar), and we just adored him. I used to let him slither all around me on the bed. That was cool! But eventually, he got sick and died. I miss him.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of Caesar, KellyB.

Is it tough to find a vet that cares for snakes? I don't think I've ever seen a reptile in the waiting room of a vet's office in my experience.

Snakes are cool and all, though, I don't think that I could live with them. O.o

Just not my thing.

I love snakes too as long as I do not get to close to them. They are beautiful though I am just not a snake lover.

Snakes are cool. My sister, brother and I used to catch all sorts of snakes out on our farm. I have always wanted to keep one but (as you might guess) our parrents always said no.

One time we tried to keep one anyway. (it was a babby bullsnake) We were only like 5-6 years old and my sister stuck it in her purse... but it sufficated. We felt really bad.
