An online parrot behavior workshop. Price is just to donate $50 to one of the professor's listed non-profit parrot organizations/rescues.
http://www.behaviorworks.org warning - waiting list is HUGE. i think i am on the list for classes in january 2008. lol. but it really sounds interesting. she applies behavior analysis (used successfully with helping autistic children) to helping parrot behavior problems. The technique seems like "common sense", but if it was such common sense, then why are so many problem birds popping up in bird rescues all over the country? here are more writings from Susan Friedman: http://www.thegabrielfoundation.org/HTML/friedman.htm telecourse taught by friedman (very interesting!) - www.raisingcanine.com/Empower/index_Empower.htm
