Lutino's:
"Lutinos can be visually sexed since the females will have the same bright yellow spots under the flight feathers and their tails will show a yellow on cream or cream on yellow barring pattern. Males are sexed by the absence of these traits."

"Lutino Whiteface (a.k.a. Albinos) can't be visually sexed. An alternative method such as blood sexing, feather sexing, or surgical sexing may be necessary. "

I beleive with pearls if they have the markings(pearling) on the back then they are female, but if there plain.. or like not as much markings/pearling then there male... But this only works if they have gone through atleast there first molt.

I had to either wait until they were old enough and begun to lay, or I used vetgen and sexed them.

On greys or grey variations the females have barring on the tails, males don't.
But you wont see that until first molt.

Talking Never enough!

To me birds are like Jello, there's always room for more.
I've had all types of birds. I started in 1975 and got up to 35 birds.
Now that I'm retired from teaching I have to have the noise around.
When people call on the phone they always ask if I'm in a jungle. I can
t hear it because it's music to my ears.

Lol, we have the same problem. We only have one bird (our African Grey) but he off course talks, whistles, and sings his head off all day and we no longer notice. When we have company over, they are almost constantly distracted by his chatter but we don't even notice!

what you can do is get a peice of string and loop a ring or something slightly heavy on the end.
then hold it perfectly still above the cockatiel (holding onto the end without the ring)
it will start swinging after a couple of seconds
still holding the string above the bird, wait about 30 seconds,
if the string swings in a circle its a girl
if the string swings in a straight line, its a boy ...

if that makes any sense at all
it has always worked for me...
