Question Chicken Bones

Is it okay to allow my caique to have a chicken thigh bone to munch?

My daughter has a DYH that has been cracking chicken drumsticks for the marrow for about forty years with no ill effects. Our male sun doesn't want the bones at all, oh, no, he goes for the flesh! Although we don't give him that very often. I was shocked when the first time I saw that bird go for meat. He is a chow hound and will eat just about anything that won't eat him first; Polita is more finicky about her diet. I say, give the bird a bone. What the heck.

Chicken bones are GREAT for parrots!!!!!! Most birds suck the marow right out of them.

Default Thanks

I suspected it wouldn't be a problem but we've only had her for a few months so we're still learning.
Thanks again for the input.
