Welcome to the forum

You are getting some Cockatiels but they aren't hand tamed already? With time and patience you will be able to tame them. With each bird it's different.
I no longer have Cockatiels they died from old age.You also mentioned about making a cage and toys for them as long as they don't contain zinc and other toxins they should be safe.I wish you luck with your new Cockatiels.

I had a tiel long long time ago. Tiel is pretty easy to take care. The only food I fed was those tiny seeds which I bought at the bird shop.

generally speaking, if you want them to be hand tamed and bonded well to you, keep them in two separate cages (in one room is fine) and at first, train each separately. Later if you want to put them both in the same cage, and play with them together, pay close attention tho their behavior to make sure they can be housed together.

Spend lots of time with each practicing "step up" the command to teach them to stand on your finger, and let them be near you while you do your own thing. Often it's better to get one bird at a time with several months difference between each so they have a better ability to bond, but if you're getting two no matter what, and if they're from the same clutch, be prepared that they may be skittish around you- especially if they weren't hand fed as babies.
