Default Any other "fish" keepers here?

Hey everyone...just curious to see if there are any other avid fish keepers. I have a few saltwater, and some freshwater discus tanks. Aside from my lovely African Grey I also love keeping fish!

Here's my specs:
- 55 gal Wattley discus tank- 5 blue turqs
- 120 gal planted wild discus tank- 8 heckel
- 120 gal saltwater reef- clownfish, emperor angel, cardinals, moray eel
- 20 gal clownfish breeding tank
- 29 gal lake malawi cichlid tank

If anyone else loves fish like I do, let me know and we can chat!

That's an impressive collection of tanks you have there, Maeci.

We don't have a tank at the moment, but my brother-in-law has a couple of smaller tanks.

Thanks!! Fish are my "other" hobby that people normally don't even know about until they visit my flat!

Wow...a 56 gal with just clownfish?? What kind? Cloud? Maroon?? Do they get bigger when they're in bigger tanks? I have some false percs that are about an inch. They got a lot bigger from when I bought them at the store, but I've seen some at fish stores that are HUGE.

Beautiful!!! Is that a planted tank?? What size do you have?? Do you breed them in your planted tanks?

I've bred discus but I always go BB. I've never quite mastered the art of planted tanks. I know people who've bred and grown out discus and angels in planted tanks. I could never do this!! My heckels are OK in my planted tank, but its very basic plants that are very easy to care for. The whole CO2 thing always gets me.

I'm a "recovering fishaholic"...many years ago when I was in the service I would go out every payday and buy more fish, more tanks..I got to the point where I was breeding Guramies of all types and selling them back to the local Pet shops, also sold Koi on consignment out of an Aqurium shop...oh those were the days

It is SO EASY to become a fishaholic. Whenever I lose fish, I go crazy with grief and buy more fish. Except I buy a LOT more fish to scratch my fish itch (that sounds pretty gross I know).

I used to have 2 salt water reef tanks but I live in S. Florida and after the 2 hurricanes of 2003 (no power for 8 days after each Hurricane) I lost everything, so I gave all my salt water stuff away. Now all I have is a 10 gallon freshwater tank with 2 Tiger Barbs a small Catfish and a Cory.
