Talking My other babies

Hi, this is Gina, Chico's human! I also have Sally a Basenji mix, she was a rescue dog and is my snugglebunny. Then there is Mason, my husbands AKC registerd Lab. He is my napping buddy, always in bed with me when i am, and can always read when my anxiety/depression is bothering me at these times will not leave my side for a minute! He also has the funny trait of smiling. Which looks like he is snarling, but he's not! Would love to hear of other members dogs, horses or whatever critters they have!

We have a house full of pets. Alex is our newest member a 3 month old CAG. Maggie is a cute little cockatiel. Roxy is our wonderful rat terrier that we got from the pound a few years ago. She lives for rides in the car. And always goes with to take the kids to school and to pick them up. We then have Cinder, Garfield, and Mouse our cats. Cinder is the oldest and largest he is as tall as the dog and almost as heavy. He is our greeter. He has to come and see who is here and will they love on him? Garfield is very skitish and only wants love when he feels like it not when you want to. He is very smart and opens cabnit doors even ones with a hook latch on them. Mouse is the most quite and is my youngest daughters cat. She has started training him. He comes when she calls his name, sits, sits up, meows whens she tells him speek and she is now working on spin with him. He also loves belly rubs! We have an aqutic turtle named Anna. And last is Ollie our bull snake. We got him from our older daughters 6th grade science teacher. That was 11 years ago. She is now about 5 1/2 feet long. I will have to see about pictures of everyone.

I have a house full if you look at my signature you will see.I too suffer from anxiety and depression but the animals are good therapy. You must keep your head up high and stay around positive people. You know start saying things could be worse it will help to change your outlook on life.
I try and be a positive person as well.Life is too short. Here's a HUG for you Gina and anyone else dealing with depression or any other mental health issues.

Wow, Sashagirl that is an impressive list you have there. I guess a "family portrait" would be hard to organize wouldn't it?

It's always good to see people providing good homes for pets.

Be healthy everyone.

I also have kitties. They were raised around my Parrot, so I was able to curb their natural tendencies. The are curious certainly, but with patience, love and a quick trigger finger on a squirt bottle they can be taught that Parrots are friends, not food.
