I have a cockatiel, and she just recently laid two unfertile eggs. Should i take

them out of the cage?

No, do not remove the eggs. Removing them will make her think a predator got them and she will lay more eggs to replace them. After about 2 to 3 weeks she will abandon them, then you can take them away. I too had an egg laying cockatiel and could not stop her from laying no matter what I did......so I made sure she had plenty of calcium (mineral blocks, and calcium powder on her food) and when she layed eggs (she would lay about 4 each time), I decided to leave her alone. I always worried that she was wrecking her health with all the egg laying, but she got a liver disease instead and died this past June at 8 yrs. old. Good luck!
