Blue And Gold Macaw

i have a BG and he is 15 months old. He is going crazy when he is in his cage. I jus gave him food like fruits and seeds in seperate bowls might i add and he jus went crazy and threw most of the food out of the bowl. What is goin on here please help me somone.. thanx

hello all we have just joined..... we are in process of gettin a blue and gold macaw which is still in egg stage at presant... used to have a congo grey but sadly passed away it was a rescue bird which we had for six years decided this time to get a young macaw..... so hopefully be pickin the brains of you fellow bird owners ... thanks..

hey everyone my name is tor and i have just recently been given a baby macaw for xmas. she is soo lovely and friendly. we also have a congo african grey that we have had for 1 year. just wondering if anyone can answer some questions for me. 1, we are still feeding her her formula and are finding it hard to get her to eat fruit and veg and seeds, any tips??? 2, she seems to be alot less active than our grey, she likes to lye on our laps, she is alert though. is this normal for a macaw? 3, she...
